On January 23, the InmersIA project was launched in Pamplona during an inaugural meeting held at the Department of Education of the Government of Navarre, organized by the host and lead partner CNAI (Navarre Center for Integral Learning). The project seeks to bring immersive spaces and artificial intelligence closer to language learning and promises to transform the way languages are taught and learned.
The consortium driving InmersIA consists of five entities: CNAI (Navarre Center for Integral Learning), the Department of Education of the Government of Navarre, the Chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat de région (CMAR) of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and two companies providing digital experiences: Nautilus and Immersalis Consulting. INICIATIVAS INNOVADORAS supports the project’s management.
InmersIA tackles language learning by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence. This synergy enables the creation of immersive and personalized learning environments to maximize knowledge retention and encourage active participation from students and educators.
Funded by the Interreg POCTEFA 2021–2027 program, the project aims to overcome geographical and cultural barriers, promoting cross-border collaboration between Spain and France. The diversity of experiences and expertise contributed by the consortium partners promises to enrich the development and implementation of InmersIA.
With a clear focus on educational innovation, InmersIA aims to enhance language teaching and contribute to the development of pedagogical methodologies that can be applied in other educational fields. This pioneering project seeks to become a benchmark in the successful integration of advanced technologies in education.
