The Programming Committee of the INTERREG VI-A Spain–France–Andorra Programme (POCTEFA 2021–2027) has approved 68 new cross-border cooperation projects in its second standard call, with €76.9 million in ERDF funding.
These initiatives cover areas such as renewable energy, health, employment, training, sustainable tourism, and natural resource management, aiming to improve quality of life in the Pyrenean region and strengthen ties between institutions, universities, and social entities on both sides of the border.
Iniciativas Innovadoras drives 11 projects
At Iniciativas Innovadoras, we are proud to have contributed to develop and submit 11 of the approved projects, working alongside public and private entities to bring solid proposals to life, aligned with POCTEFA’s objectives. This involvement reinforces our commitment to cross-border cooperation and sustainable, inclusive territorial development.
Boosting territorial cohesion
The approved projects align with the priorities of the POCTEFA 2021–2027 programme, consolidating a cooperation model that promotes balanced, green, and inclusive development in the cross-border area. Additionally, this call allows for successive programming every six months, giving reserve-listed projects a chance as funds become available.
